Chance,  has had a passion for hair design since her pre-teen years growing up in the Washington DC Metro Area.  Her entrepreneurial spirit in her youth, lead her to major in cosmetology in high school.
 “ I always wanted to teach and do hair.”

After graduating from high school, majoring in cosmetology and business, Chance obtained her state license to do hair at age 17.  The fall of that year Chance enrolled at Bowie State University, where she earned her B.S. degree in Communications. 

During the last 10 years, Chance held positions as the assistant manager at a local Hair Cuttery, and teaches at the Hair Academy in the  Maryland area. 

She has over 10 years experience in the beauty industry and has trained under Washington DC areas finest. Chance is a sought after teacher and trainer, she is certified with  Mizani, and  Kera Care Products (Avlon) products.  Kera Care products are used and sold at her location. Her specialties are cutting, styling  and weaving. Ms. Irby has created beautiful styles to many locals, well known celebrities in radio and T.V. She also attends seminars to keep abreast of the latest hair trends and hair care products.
